How to create a measure?
Make a measurement:
- Select the "Measure" tool in the list of annotations and ROIs. (see "how to create 2D annotations")
- Bring your mouse above one image in a display area and click the left button to define the first point of the measure.
- Drag your mouse to define the second point of the measure and click on the left button.
The unit of the measurement will be the millimeter if the image contains information about pixel spacing. Otherwise the unit will be the pixel.
Make continued measurements intersected by one or several lines:
- Select the "Line" tool in the list of annotations and ROIs. (see "how to create 2D annotations")
- Make one or several lines. (See "How to create or modify a line")
- Select the "Measure" tool in the list of annotations and ROIs. (see "how to create 2D annotations")
- Click the left button to define the first point of the measure.
- Drag your mouse to the other side of the line(s) to define the last point of the measurements.
- Click on the 'Space' key of the keyboard to get several continued measurements. (Click again to change from several measurements to one).
- You can drag again your mouse to optimize the position of the last point of the measurements.
- Click on the left button.
The unit of the measurement will be the millimeter if the image contains information about pixel spacing. Otherwise the unit will be the pixel.
Modify the measure object position:
- Select the measure object by clicking on the line (but not on the value). When a measure object is selected, you can see a green circle at each extremity of the measure.
- Bring your mouse anywhere between the both extremities of the measure, press the left mouse button and hold it.
- While holding the left mouse button, drag your mouse to move the position of the measure object.
- Release the left mouse button.
Modify the extremity points of the measure:
- Select the measure by clicking on the line (but not on the value). When a measure object is selected, you can see a green circle at each extremity of the measure.
- Bring your mouse above one of the extremities of the measure (inside its green circle), press the left mouse button and hold it.
- While holding the left mouse button, drag your mouse to move the extremity of the measure.
- Release the left mouse button.
The unit of the measurement will be the millimeter if the image contains information about pixel spacing. Otherwise the unit will be the pixel.
Modify the measure value position:
- Select the measure value by clicking on the value (but not on the line). When a value is selected, it becomes highlighted in yellow.
- Press the left button of your mouse on the value and hold it.
- While holding the left mouse button, drag your mouse to move the position of the measure object.
- Release the left mouse button.
Modify the properties of the measure:
- Select the measure object by clicking on it with the left mouse button. When a measure object is selected, you can see a green circle at each extremities of the measure.
- In the properties window of annotations and ROIs, modify the color or the width of the measure object.
