mulOMpUR | I'd like to know how the 3D supported in Onis2.2 | 12/15/2010 2:12:41 PM |
mulOMpUR | Hi,
Onis support double oblique Multi Planar Reconstruction (MPR) and Maximum Intensity Projection 3D Volume rendering (MIP).
Does your question is about how to see the 3D rendering?

mulOMpUR | Hi,
When i review a CT volume and run through the sices, i can view images. If i switch to MIP rendering, the screen turns black.
Can youplease explain to me how to make this work?
Thank you,

mulOMpUR | Hello Erik,
To use the MIP rendering, you need to have at least 2 images. They must be in grayscale format and also, the 3D orientation should be the same in each image.
You can have a look at the page below:

mulOMpUR | Hi,
I have the same problem... I can play the series of MR images, but when I try the MIP rendering, the message "Out of Memory" appears. These series have more than 2 grayscale images.
Any help ?
Thank you. | 11/1/2011 5:01:16 AM |
mulOMpUR | Hi,
How many images do you have in your series? Maybe there are too many for your computer memory.

mulOMpUR | Hello,
I am using the trial version of 2.5. I have two sets of CT data - one is 666 slices at 0.3 voxel size 768x768 pixels at 16bits. I am able to render 2D, MIP and MPR - and create SC's as needed. However - the second set type we have is 533 slices at 0.37 voxel size 1368x768 pixels at 16bits. Whenever i try to do the MIP 3D or MPR view in the viewer Onis crashes. I am wondering whether there is some memory limit to Onis. This is critical as we are looking to purchase the Ultimate version for many of our customers shortly - and need this function to work with our large sets. Please help.
